I have a question on color ranges for this lovely species of yours ^^ Iβm looking for the color ranges for Male (if thereβs a certain color range for males) since Iβm gonna make a oc of this species and use that oc in a story in making.

Though I don't generally follow the colour ranges, female erebus are often brighter more vibrant colours, and males are darker shades! There aren't any specific colours they can or can't be though

They all start out black, yes. It's like the colour the originate from, but then they change to different colours.
