ive promised a rain tutorial to sumbody. i just forgot whe he/she is. i hope he/she still remembers it.crappy grammar and spellings are expected i think.
its hard to give exact pixel weights or parameters, coz i do it by random. ha!
bear with my explanation neh!?

well, the noise motion blur tends to be too random you cant make the raindrops go where you want to go and appear where you want to appear.

well, thats already enough.
you just follow the tuturial as it is then place your character above all the layers so that the rain will be behind the character and there. you ran place some ran drops above the layer of your character to make the rain "real" and have the artwork have depth.

well, the layer where your charcter is.
place is ABOVE the rain bg.
and youll have the rain at the "back" of the character because the character is "above" the rain.
i hope you are getting the drift. jeje.

dont worry. you dont need to be like me. i want to be like me, then youd be livig in a world of missery and frustrations. the truth is, im frustrated with my art. i just cant feel content with what i can do. i feel it lacking of sumthing. i hate my linearts; i dont like the way i color; i cant color pale themes; they always have to be blue or red.
you see, its by following what you are comfortable with that makes you appreciate what you do. i feel comfortable and a bit eerie in mine but i have no option. its the best thing i can do. i dunno, im talking too much again..

honestly, i still have many pending works on different tutorials from diferent people here in DA but i often forget them and tend to get sweeped away by all those comments and stuff, but, if i get all the time in the world, why not?!
