Description
Another image for my book, Worldview. Mostly painted, with some textures added. Photoshop. The 'Land of the Damned' proves lengthy and exhausting for the growing number ofΒ unfortunate REJECTS who are sent there. A tired and mentally drained REJECT battles on through miles and miles of monotonous and rusty industrial zones, his micro-meal capsules being the only source of 'food' keeping him alive, along with the puddles of water he purifies. Now and again, oversized long-range surveillance drones fly overhead, serving to remind him that he's still as owned as ever.

Thanks Anastasiy. I used to create typically dull stuff, but over the last year or so I decided to BOOST some colour

Loving your style here has a lot of the look of the old mate science fiction paintings, bold geometry and a lived-in look.

Excellent, thanks Kishero. I somehow drifted into a more '1970's' approach, even though I was always inspired by modern stuff. Must be unconscious...

Well I think what's giving it the older sci-fi look is, old science fiction the shapes are simple often geometric, and then the actual lines are complex, with a leaning to bold geometry, more modern the forms are complex, but the lines are simple. So in this pice those floating spheres then the angles structures in the left, the bug, but not solid blocks of colour, are lending it that classic sci-fi look... Useful to know so you can lean in or away from that.
Personally well that was the kind of art that pulled me into science fiction, so I like it. Β

Amazing futuristic landscape. I would love to use it for my story in my role playing group. Can you please take a look at my group:

Many thanks, AP1989
Unfortunately I can't allow anyone to use the images from my Worldview book, as there could be future issues if I ended up being taken on by a publisher. The first question they'll ask is if I've allowed others to use the art, which could affect the copyright, etc.
However, thanks very much for asking

Ahh, great. Thanks Vearce. It's actually quite tough trying to gauge how the story-side of the project will be accepted.
