Jinx: I was on my own for a while, too. I lived in Canterlot before I was Changed. The Change was kinda a long-term thing for me.

Kit: I was in canterlot when it happened. I got captured and everything went black. I woke up a few weeks later another changeling who called himself Burn saved me before the change was complete. It allowed me to keep my memories and the reason I still have hair. He told me the same thing happened to him.
