Description
Part two of probably my last hexing tutorial, this one dealing with ragdolls. Had to split it into two parts because it got a tad long.Note: If you're going to publish a hexed model to the Garry's Mod Workshop, please ask or inform the creator!

Just a couple of things I need help with (I'm trying to hex this ragdoll: [DL] EG: Sunset Shimmer New Outfit ): is the finished hex supposed to be in the Addons Legacy folder in Gmod? Because that's where I found it, and when I tried to spawn it, it crashed the game. Also, is the .mdl file supposed to be renamed as well? I just felt that if it shares the same name as the original model, it may cause a conflit and possible crash.

Hopefully the same hexing methods will work with L4D2 survivor models. I've added the tutorials to my Favorites so I can use them in the future, which is not that far.

It almost worked. The problem is that Ellis' head texture is entirely black and it shows nothing but Ellis' eyes, but it doesn't affect the default "mechanic" model. Turns out I forgot to rename "mechanic_head_color" to "riotanic_head_color" in the .mdl file when hexing it with XVI32. I'll see if it works perfectly now.
What I tried to hex was this "Riot Officer Ellis" addon by MrFunreal, which I will only use personally in my animations.
EDIT: It's all good now. Thanks, Jay!

Thank you so much for this. Excellent job on the tutorial! Didn't even get my brick stuck in a toaster.
