Well...
I generally don't put lines in place of hair, but you can delimit it using low risk of pencil (I don't like because in the time to erase them you can ruin the paint) or use the light color of the painting to weaker lines. But you have to be a risk very smooth.

NEVER USE INK with you want to do realistic fur.
