well for the i knew i wanted a very dynamic pose and the ground to be at an angle. think i thumbnailed out about 7 poses and then decided on one like this but exaggerated it more as i drew it.

No i hand draw it all. thumbnail stuff like on an A4 page do tiny little doodles. very quick poses of what you want and i always pick one i'm happy with and then develop it.

Imrpessive, i wish i could have your skills my friend. I have a deep fight with every thing i sketch, i spent like 1 hour sketching something you will do in 1 minute.
