Description
I'm starting to think that Japanese-made games have become very flashy to look at but are no longer fun to play. What the hell happened?!

UFO ending only.
Konami has yet to say anything on which of the Silent Hill 2 endings is 'canon.'

I liked seeing your take on it... made me laugh.
And yes, the game does seem more fun to watch than to play.
I still want it though
what, nothing about the climax moves?

It's not you. They're revenging themselves upon the USA for 'sharing' nuclear technology with them way back when.

oh man i know what you mean... you play for five minutes of mediocre quality, then they have these kick-ass graphics for cut-scenes that lost longer than you get to play, unless you die and have to start the part over...

You know something funny? I was just discussing the shear uninvolved stupidity and whoreish-ness of this game with my old man! Now, I'm usually one who enjoys mindless skank-a-licious or even the most ridiculous of games, but this one is just so... Blegh, that I couldn't help but laugh uproariously at it. Most of the time I played, I couldn't tell what I was doing and the grading confused me, though, surprisingly, mindlessly clicking the buttons gave me a fair 'A' most the way through. Though, it was nice holding conversations while mindlessly killing things and breaking pottery as Bayonetta strutted down the walk way like a model. Ah, well, I couldn't be bothered anymore about this game, for it was truly insignificant and scantily clad.
Truly, honestly, incontestably bad game. It'd be a whack off show if people didn't need to hit the buttons.

I seriously hate those QTE things. Was playing Resident Evil 5 a while back, a movie came up, so I sat back and watched. Suddenly, I had to press A to dodge! aaargh! I think I saw that one part about 6 times over, kept dying at the next QTE button, there were a ton of it -.-
For who played it, the scene in the plane. I have the text memorized now, lol.
Even worse was the one at the ending of God of War (don't remember if it was one or 2) You had to watch about 1 minute of movie, then a bunch of QTE. If you missed one, go watch the 1 minute movie again (unskipable!!) and try again.
*bangs head on table*

Good grief, jollyjack, you're wildly off the mark here. Panel 5 in particular sticks out as practically libel - do you really expect to flawlessly ace absolutely every challenge on your very first go? The very appeal comes from skill-honing, and complaining about that is like trying to play poker with chess pieces.

I actually never wanted to play the game and from what people have been telling me and from game play I've saw, I really don't want to buy it.
I don't know, there is something about a woman's outfit made from her hair and the fail logic behind the guns+boots=somehow able to fire that bothers me.

Koxian In reply to dedded [2010-03-25 23:02:10 +0000 UTC]
I know that, but it's pretty retarded. Normal leather would have been fine, but no they had to make her special and make her clothes from her hair.

dedded In reply to Koxian [2010-03-25 23:31:23 +0000 UTC]
They started off with a leather catsuit originally, but they wanted her hair to play a special part in the design, long hair being such a female quality. In the end they needed a medium for summoning demons, and went with her hair being used for the magic. As a by-product, it also became her suit, so she's able to form it any way she likes. Also good excuse to show her half naked, I suppose!

It's in the same realms of over-the-top action. I'm very surprised you like DMC and not this So many nods to Devil May Cry as well.
But hey, up to you I say give it a try if you haven't already, perhaps a rental.

Well I guess I'm more of a devil lover then a witch lover. Not only that but I guess I just love the story line for DMC and it doesn't help that I'm a fan of Sparda.
Well I plan on trying it and I will try to stay open minded about it.
