alright here's another redesign for Robotnik in my comic, I just seem to have a lot of trouble trying to settle on a design for Robotnik in this comic that satisfies me. one of the things I have the most trouble with in designing Robotnik is trying to decide on how I wanted to do his eyes, go with the basic glasses he wears in the games or go with the black and red eyes he has in the comics and cartoons and I know I could just have his eyes be black and red while wearing the glasses but that answer doesn't really satisfy me. But I did come across an idea, I decided to take influence for the design from Spectacular Spider Man version of Doctor Octopus (vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/sp… ), since I really like the character designs of that show, since I feel that Robotnik and Octopus are similar in that they are both overweight evil scientists who battle wise cracking heroes. Anyways for Robotnik here I decided to give him eye pieces similar to what Dr. Octopus had in Spectacular Spider man, I feel that would be a nice homage to the black eyes while still having him wear his glasses, I also decided to give him the long coat just cause I thought that'd look cool, I also added traits from the various different robotnik designs such as his coat being a blend of his modern and classic outfit, and his shirt being like the satam/aosth outfit and I think it came together quite nicely.
