Links in my bio 😊Her challenger, a young man, took his position. The countdown sounded off once again and he launched to Pokeball over the grassy field.

Light erupted from the machine and formed into something large. Its boney shell glistened in the floodlights and its blue, knobbly skin shifted as it stepped forward. It was a Blastoise!

In a show of strength, the giant fired a warning shot of high powered steep high into the air, creating a momentary rainbow when caught by the stadium lights.
Water began to spill from its cannons as it took a defensive pose.

A hologram appeared above the field, signalling for all safety shields to be turned on. These near invisible, 40 foot high energy walls surrounded the stadium, shielding both the crowd and the trainers from any rogue attacks or debris in battle.
The hologram changed to a countdown. The crowd screamed as the number rolled down to one.

The battle was about to begin…
