Description
Dratini are elusive but beautiful creatures.Unknown to many are the fact Dratini are actually Mammals. They breath air and can store huge amounts of oxygen in their system meaning they don't have to surface for air for hours, even days at a time, this makes them very hard to spot.
Dratini are sorely sought after by dragon trainers as when they evolve they become very powerful dragon pokemon.
They can live in both fresh and salt water but its found they prefer warmer fresh water and have been found in many lakes and deep ponds over the years.
They are primarily carnivores and eat fish as their main diet, but have been found to eat some forms of weed as this can help with digestion.
They have evolved to have no fins or limbs of any kind over millions of years, however when they fully evolve they transform into their air and land form Dragonite. Dratini are seen as the first stage (pupa form).
Though it does not have limbs it has grown fins on its head made of cartilage which it uses as rudders as it swims through the water.
Hope you like it

I really like it! I feel that it's just missing a little something though...maybe to make the ears be a bit more fan like?
I'm not sure. Don't mind me. Keep continuing on!

Some constructive criticism, but I actually preferred these when they had the pencilly roughness beneath. I don't know, it just made them seem more real. Although the background seems a bit better.
A beautiful description as always.

It's absolutely wonderful! I am so glad that you finally started on the Dratini family, and Dratini looks perfect; just as I would have imagined it! I would critique it if I had a Premium membership (or even a Paypal account), but since I can't, I can only express with words how wonderful it is. I really like the new style, too. Keep up the good work!

Very good work. The idea of Dratini as a mammal goes against what I had pictured - I once did a case study of Dratini scales - but it's still great.

Great design and description of one of the most rare and loved first generation pokΓ©mon.
Now that I'm looking closer to your stile, it's surprising how you make good drawings with little details. Some lines, a little color, here one detail, here another... This drawing itself has a very basic structure, but you've made a great art piece with little things.
See ya, Josh.

Agree. Your descriptive drawings must have the necessary detail level, and this is the proper one.

The only thing I can comment on is that it's "elusive", and that either you meant it to be "pupil" stage, or "pupa", or something like that.
Otherwise, wonderful.
