Description
Dratini are elusive but beautiful creatures.

Unknown to many are the fact Dratini are actually Mammals. They breath air and can store huge amounts of oxygen in their system meaning they don't have to surface for air for hours, even days at a time, this makes them very hard to spot.
Dratini are sorely sought after by dragon trainers as when they evolve they become very powerful dragon pokemon.

They can live in both fresh and salt water but its found they prefer warmer fresh water and have been found in many lakes and deep ponds over the years.
They are primarily carnivores and eat fish as their main diet, but have been found to eat some forms of weed as this can help with digestion.

They have evolved to have no fins or limbs of any kind over millions of years, however when they fully evolve they transform into their air and land form Dragonite. Dratini are seen as the first stage (pupa form).
Though it does not have limbs it has grown fins on its head made of cartilage which it uses as rudders as it swims through the water.
