Description Worked on this for like 4hrs yesterday. Then last night my system had small crash. I had saved it before the crash, but somehow it got currpted anyways. I waslike. fuckyoubitch. I was able to find a recovery tool through the power of Google and salvage most of it, after another 2hours of work today, it is finally finished.

This guide is only for CS6 and above.
Seriously. Do not ask me if this will work with lower versions of Photoshop. Don't even think about it. IT DOESN'T WORK FOR LOWER VERSIONS.
There is a very good reason behind that too, vectors changed in CS6, this guide is meant to help transition people over from the old system to the new system.

I thought it was more complicated than that. I thought there was something I didnยดt knew before, because other vector artists do amazing things, and I never find out how they do that, but oh well!
Thanks!

That's not what I meant. What do you mean by "type of vector"? There's only one type.

I mean, which type (labeled above, butt, etc.) what brush is best?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

JRCnrd In reply to WorgenPrince [2013-04-10 01:43:10 +0000 UTC]

That's not a brush. Re-read that section very carefully. It's about vector stroke, has absolutely nothing to do with the brush tool.

This is for vectors. Read the artist description and actually read the guide. :/

Thanks for the guide, now I know the improvement of new PS CS6, because before this the new series of PS didn't improved very much than the older series, and I still use CS3... I'll consider using CS6

Very interesting *__* I'm downloading now my CS6 master collection from university and will be very usefull to know this. In CS5 I don't know if there is a "vector stroke" and a "stroke layer effect" like here.

Thanks for this *W*

it is, thats why i was like YAY, but then V.V awww.... haha but its ok. i mostly use photoshop, illustrator only for my classes, but every once in awhile i like to mess with it.

onure In reply to ninjassinwolf [2012-09-25 17:59:10 +0000 UTC]

You may have noticed that Illustrator is also a very complex application. You can do millions and billions of different things, experiment with different techniques. Illustrator can not be replaced by just enhancing this or that vector function in Photoshop. I am writing this because I want to encourage you to mess around much more with Illustrator. If your machine isn't fast enough buy some RAM or go raid a computer store, do whatever it takes to explore the power of that vector application.

PEACE!
