Description
It was Carolina that asked about the "New Recruit," right? But the Director got all pissy at CT instead.
Idk those two just sound so similar.
Does that make me sexist?

I think he told Carolina that was none-her-businass! And CT ask "If we know's in it, how do we not know the size?" To which she got glared at. But that's still pretty hilarious. CT is scolded a lot.

It's more their voices than their personalities that get me mixed up, but they do share similarities.
I'm on the fence about who I like more...I'm definitely excited to see Carolina's inevitable fall from grace...but CT's backstory fascinates me, too. CHOICES!

Well, to tell the truth I only like Carlina more just cause CT tryed to kill Caboose. No other reason. CT's backstory (and washs) do seem very instersing...

Poor CT, it's just like everything's her fault.
I bet, when her mother was young, she turned the Director down, who had a very intense love interest in her.
So, after CT was born (of course her mother had found another partner) and grew up to be a freelancer, the Director had sworn himself to make her pay. So, she will be blamed just for everything.
Great work!

it was cuz CT was like
'well if we know what's in the sarcophagus
why don't we know how big it is?'
at least
I'm pretty sure it was that

They do sound kind of similar, but you can just barely tell the difference. Jen and Sam seem to go for a similar character, so I guess it's understandable.

I suppose what threw me off the most was, at least at this scene, the camera was ON Carolina, even though CT was the one talking. Without being able to see lips move, it didn't register to me that Carolina wasn't speaking
And them sounding similar certainly didn't help XD
Yeah, I suppose both CT and Carolina do have a certain attitude to them that makes them more similar

I saw the episode and though the exact same thing. Truthfully Even though it may not be the same to others Tex, Carolina and CT have ALL sounded the same to me. If they were all in an episode together and talking I wouldn't be able to tell which one was talking. It has been getting confusing.
This put a funny side to it though XD

Yeah. Am I the only one who thinks she's a member of the insurrection?
Could explain why she's so obsessed with "which side you're on"
And why she looks so EVIL in that newest poster.
I mean, I REFUSED TO BELIEVE THIS IS COINCIDENCE.

RavenWolf-KI In reply to Jspx [2011-09-26 20:38:37 +0000 UTC]
I believe she may be a member. Because the music goes all dark sounding and focuses on C.T. before cutting to the Insurrectionists.
Also, has anyone noticed that the Insurrectionists are red (and steel) and Freelancer is predominantly linked with blue (and silver)? (Alpha is silver-blue, 479-er's visor is blue and armour is silver, MBG is blue and quite a few of the Freelancers have white or silver on their armour somewhere)
Also, all those that go rogue are linked with red by the armour (either primary, secondary or both colours); Maine has brown secondary (which is basically dark red), York has tan armour (shade of red/orange), Tex has black armour (theoretically could be said to be really dark red), or she could be said to be steel coloured (steel is associated with the Insurrectionists), Wash has yellow secondary (Yellow is a light orange which in turn is a light red) and steel is associated with the Insurrectionists, South is purple (a mix of red and blue, though her shade of purple is closer to the red side of the blend), Wyoming is white (which in theory is really light red, and also close to steel in colour), C.T. is brown (basically dark red).
The only two who remain loyal to Freelancer (as far as we know), North and Carolina, are more linked to blue than the others are. (North's purple colour is closer to the blue end of the spectra than South's, and Carolina is cyan coloured, which is blue).
Random theory over XD

Yeah, plus, there are 6 insurrectionists shown, and 8 freelancers going on this mission (if you count Tex.) If CT switches sides, it evens the teams to 7 each, which is very OCD friendly...
I'M GOING TO PRETEND THAT HAS SIGNIFICANCE.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they totally did a color-dependant pattern like that. It is kindof their thing, after all.
But North does defect from Freelancer...? Assuming that's why he still had Theta when he was killed and signaled as level zero. It's South that becomes Recovery Two and is still taking orders from the Director...
And Carolina breaks free with York and Delta, doesn't she? She was his "interior decorator." I suppose she could have left against her will...?
And I thought Tex was begrudgingly loyal? She was sent by command to the blue outpost, and you'd think a rouge agent wouldn't be taking orders from them anymore?
IDEK x.x
I love random theories !! They're the best <3

RavenWolf-KI In reply to Jspx [2011-09-27 03:29:54 +0000 UTC]
7! Bungie's number!
Remember, South betrayed her brother, Wash, and Recovery and stole the Delta A.I, going rogue in the process. I think North was a Recovery Agent working with his sister (probably under the callsign Recovery 3). She's only Recovery to get an A.I.
I'm writing a story about that interior decorator theory right now as part of my 100 themes. Basically, in it, York finds her A.I.-less and pretty traumatised/mentally scarred and he tries to connect with her again. And maybe against her will yeah.
Tex also facilitated the break into to free the Alpha, alongside several other rogue agents, so I'd say she's rogue (covertly).
Man, I want episode.

Jspx In reply to RavenWolf-KI [2011-09-27 04:06:29 +0000 UTC]
OHHHSHIT. THAT'S RIGHT.
Yeah, but I didn't think anyone was allowed to keep their AI after the recall, recovery agent or no recovery agent. Which is why North seemed rouge to me. Only rouge agents still had them. And Wash was the only Recovery Agent they trusted to transport them to command because he wouldn't want to keep one.
Granted, Tex kept Omega but that's just because she couldn't get rid of him..
Haha, yeah, I suppose South does switch sides in the end...
Personally, I think they were bullshitting to her about giving her an AI. She would never get an AI through them. They'd make it seem like she would, but then something happens and she's at the bottom of the list again. Like it was always her fault that she didn't get one...but really, they were just withholding them from her as part of the experiment she was in. I think she figures this out (maybe Delta tells her?) and responds by stabbing -or more shooting- them in the back and legging it.
The whole system doesn't make any sense. Why didn't they just hunt down the rouge freelancers right after they left? It seems like no one is looking for them until AFTER they die...is it because the recovery team knows that freelancers with AI are too strong to take down by force alone?
F'awwww, poor Carolina. I want to know what happens to her....but I know I'm gonna feel so bad for her
Personally, I think Tex makes a deal to stay with the Director in exchange for something. Answers, maybe? I dunno. She definitely doesn't want to be apart of it, but she still is. To protect the Alpha maybe? Then once she found him (Church) she knew she didn't need to hold up her end of the bargain anymore?
Seriously. More episodes nao :I
