Description
Rewatched Godzilla vs Destroyah again recently and was especially in awe of the energy effect late in the film coming off G's spines, it's such a beautiful image in spite of the fact that we're watching our hero burning to death. A literal blaze of glory as he goes out like a boss. Simple effect, but amazing and awe inspiring and so saddening all at once.

I whole heatedly agree. Though my personal favorite is when we see Big-G actually melt. Weird I'm sure to hear, but I really felt like they melted the suit itself not just used CGI.
