Heisei Goji is my all time favorite design since this version is what I remember most growing up

The Heisei series is my favorite era overall, I get excited every time I plan to watch one.Β Just bought the SH Monsterarts 1989 Godzilla figure, my all-time favorite suit.

IDW has been a bit hit and miss for me, but it has been nice that they have had the entire Toho stock available to them.Β I just want to see some solid new writing and the freedom for them to introduce more new monsters now and then.Β That is at least something that still makes the Dark Horse comics so fun is that even though they weren't allowed to use other Toho monsters it allowed the chance to make new kaiju, which is usually a plus in my book.

What a gorgeous light effect in the mouth. Same goes for the eye.
I also like the more soft painted background of the clouds and buildings. It really brings the character of Godzilla more to the forefront and makes him pop.

Aw thanks man, I appreciate that.Β Drawing is one thing but learning effects are another, I'm really glad the mouth turned out like it did.Β It's meant also to emulate his whole "walking animation" that he does in the Super Godzilla video game with the angle and all, I was glad that the client noticed it.
