How could I forget that scene? Excellent way to capture the suit's expression. Godzilla 75 was the perfect face, and sucks the Showa series stopped just as they were getting better.Β

No kidding, the "barren age" of the late 70s and early 80s would have been fascinating to see if the series had had the money to continue.Β Heck even just more films in the 80s would have rocked as practical effects and sci fi films were exploding.

The way the fire looks it kinda makes this Godzilla a combo of Showa and Millennium

One of the greatest shots of Godzilla ever put to him, almost totally one of his most badass scenes as he charges through the absolute maelstrom of shrapnel and flame Mechagodzilla unleashes upon him. Always remember: Godzilla didn't dodge a single bullet, he let every one hit him and kept on going forward until he got his claws on the alien robot.
THAT is why Godzilla is the King!

No kidding, I've met two of the former Godzilla suit actors and they both had such horror stories of being in those things....it only makes me appreciate their hard work and sacrifice all the more whenever I watch the films.Β But seriously, even in thick rubber I would NEVER want to catch on fire.
