I can honestly say sir, that your renderings of the Legendary film design are far more appealing and consistent than those found in official materials. Well done.

Godzilla 2000 should win. He's much smaller, but Legendary Godzilla is possibly the frailest yet.

I wouldn't say Godzilla 2014 is the frailest. He didn't have as much Atomic Energy as any other incarnation, but he still survived a fight that was two against one just like any other Godzilla incarnation would. You can't really call any Godzilla fraile, he's not a deer. Though I agree that Godzilla 2000 may actually win the fight. Remember what he did to Orga?

Well, he didn't actually take them both on at once. Remember that when the Mutos tag teamed him, he was about as good as dead. The only reason that Godzilla couldΒ effectively kill them is because the humans provided enough distractions to allow him to kill them one at a time. Also, he was being hurt by tank shells. Even if you want to say that he was just wailing a little, Godzilla isn't supposed to show pain to conventional weaponry.

It wouldn't be the first time that Godzilla has been hurt by human weaponry. Or the first time he has had near death battles. Remember Godzilla vs Gigan, Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla (original), Terror of MechaGodzilla, Godzilla vs Destoroyah and Godzilla Final Wars? Whether he's been out numbered or overpowered, Godzilla has pulled through, either alone or with the help of allies. All I'm saying is that Godzilla shouldn't be underestimated or underrated. And lets not forget that this incarnation has gills under his neck, where the shell were hitting. It's like being punched in the throat. Another theory is that this is the first time this incarnation has been exposed to conventional weaponry and wasn't used to it. Also, and many fans has agreed to this, Godzilla wasn't at full strength. There probably isn't as much radiation at the bottom of the ocean to give Godzilla the energy he needs for his usual amount of strength. Look, my point is that no incarnation of the King should be considered frail. (Zilla does not count)

Frail probably isn't the best word, you're right, and I agree that Godzilla has been in death situations before and even has died. But I think we can agree that Godzilla shouldn't have had any trouble with the Mutos. Sure, Ghidorah in Final Wars nearly killed him, but Godzilla fought 9 other Kaiju and survived a city busting meteor prior so him being weakened makes sense. Destroyah also makes sense as it is supposed to destroy literally everything. And every MechaGodzilla fight also makes sense. But the Mutos were beating him to death by biting, punching, and stabbing alone, they could even release an electromagnetic pulse onto Godzilla but they didn't need to. Also, the first couple of shells hit him in the chest and then he started wailing, but I think I can accept the theory about not being used to it. I guess I was wrong to say frail (because we know that Godzillas made in Japan are not), but Legendary is the weakest to date and would probably die to any other Godzilla who took him on.

True, but you gotta admit Legendary's Godzilla is meant to be realistic so his awesome power was scaled down just a bit as well as his,original Godzillas were all mutated and was able to absorb large amounts of radiation in their time, while this version was all natural that just used that radiation as a source of food and has been hibernating for a long time so he's kinda low on radiation at that point. Also that would explain why he relies more on close combat.
I have a theory though, reptiles keep growing as they age, Godzillas live for millions of years so what if the reason for this one's massive size is because he's actually really old? I think it would explain why he's so uninterested with the humans, but with the MUTO he's really determined because he instinctively sees it as a threat and goes after them anyway even though he's low on radiation.

I'll be honest, I'm not looking to start another argument. But I think the real reason why Zilla and Legendary Godzilla could be hurt by ballistics is the fact that not everyone thinks that guns have limited usefulness (aside from the not used to them explanation for the latter).
I can agree with your theory though, but we have no evidence to say that since there are no other Godzillas to compare him too in the movie. But since he is supposed to be a natural enemy of the MUTOS, I think it is safe to say that he is supposed to be average Daikaiju size. Of course that is scientifically impossible, but I don't want to get into another argument today.

I hate myself for saying this but the 2014 design has grown on me. I like a lot more than tohos later designs after 54. No one beats 54

Don't hate yourself, brah. It's okay. But you are right, Nothing beats ShodaiGoji. Which is why the movie coming in 2016, officially titled in English, "Godzilla Resurgence", is basing its design off the original.
