This is for Ukraine. It was originally a color sketch for a painting I did years ago called the Iron Door. (www.deviantart.com/keithspangl… ) It is an illustration for an unwritten story about a young lady whose homeland is invaded and who must come to our world for help. (In this painting she is seeing for the first time the attack). Then Ukraine was invaded. I changed the color of her clothing to match the national colors of Ukraine and added the vase of sunflowers. It is oil on canvas and measures 12 X 16 inches.
