Description At least in my opinion. It doesn't matter if the person wearing the costume is a girl, or a guy, or skinny, or fat, or black or white or young or old or anything like that. If the costume itself is really authentic and good, then it really shouldn't matter.

No, you shouldn't cosplay Rip if you look like Major and Major if you look like Rip... (Hellsing)  You will look ridiculous. You should look similar to the character, unless you're a kid trying to be cute in a costume or something...

I agree 100%

Never judge on somebody's appearance! As long as the costume/cosplay is there. That's what matters.

Cosplay is not ONLY about the costume, it's also about the interpretation, and of course, about having fun! Because althought some people work as models, it is not a job but a hobby.

I totally agree. It is about the costume and, I think, the attitude of the person in it. (And having fun!!!!!)

I think it's also about fun too. I'm dirt poor so I make my costumes((and they end up crappy))but I have fun with them.
