YAY my first tutorial!!I did those feathers in my last deviation and i liked them o_o so i decided to make a tutorial of it. Probly wont be that usefull though ._____. Enjoy~!

I've never seen such a beautiful feathers in my life and you even did it all in SAI! (lots of tutorials are usuallly in Photoshop which I don't use because I use SAI

It could be called "Luminosity" in your SAI. It works the same.

Lol, I understand what you mean, my friend.
It's quite easy, just make a new file with a very big heighth. Type some text in Paint (yes that windows paint program) copy paste it in the file and put some pictures in it. I assume you know how to copy paste pictures.

But theres one thing... at step..uh..2? When you said to put the Blend mode to Addition, mine dosen't have blend mode, nor' addition. It only has Mode...

I think it might be called layer mode on your SAI, but anything thats a bar above the opacity bar should be it.

but its easier to make the basic shape with just one stroke
(if u have a tablet with pressure sensebility)

Nope, unless you take a really big brush and have very good control over your pressure pen, otherwise it will be a very thin feather. Or do you mean to make the shape in one stroke? I find it hard to start stroking thin, much easier this way.
