Whoot! Finally got around to doing another pretty, colourful, Sandover-based Jak and Daxter piece.The white dots/streaks were originally because I was drooling over a pic Mokono Apapa had done for MKR artwork, but then it turned into a rain-like look and I really liked the effect. So I guess it gives the boys a reason to be happy (couls Rain is great! Especially when you're a kid and like to run out and splash about in puddles...though...I'm not really a kid anymore, and still haven't grown out of it myself... *clunk*).
I swear, if I revealed how long it took me to do this image...I know some people who spend days on theirs would probably just kill me here and now. Only Nicki may have some idea...though...I started it a few hours after she got offline.
For once, I wanted to draw Daxter with his much rounder baby-style face than the more shapely one I tend to give him with my style....and, MEEP! I need to start working a way to do him with the rounder head. (Represses her urges to take Dax, tie him up, gag him, and drag him away with her on her merry way).
Best part about it though - I'm a firm beliver that Jak is at LEAST one or two years older than his lil' buddy Dax, and it looks it in the pic! *insert happy ottsel dance*

Yeah, I've always thought Jak was a couple years older than Dax. He seemed more respinsible and kind big brother-like. I really like your rain effect, I've never seen it done that way before. Keep up the great work, this brightened my day quite a bit.

Pretty nice hair for rain. They're gonna be sick tomorrow. LOL. But it's cute nonetheless. I personally like Daxter's round face, it somehow suits him better. Jak's relaxed pose is something I enjoy after playing one too many Jak 2 when he doesn't look all so relaxed...what a nice contrast.

Before I start I mustmustmust stop salivating over Jak's arms. X3 Excellent job wiff this... especially Jak's arms. I'm farfarFAR from a Jak fan girl, but dernit, his arms are reminding me a bit of a certain actor--I give you permission to smack me for rambling about in your comment.
ANYwho. I must say, your talent with the Prisma and Tria markers is sky-high, and yet still it improves every piece you post. It's downright amazing. o.o And with the colors looking bolder than ever, it really brings out the stormy Sandover feel.
