Whoot! Finally got around to doing another pretty, colourful, Sandover-based Jak and Daxter piece.The white dots/streaks were originally because I was drooling over a pic Mokono Apapa had done for MKR artwork, but then it turned into a rain-like look and I really liked the effect. So I guess it gives the boys a reason to be happy (couls Rain is great! Especially when you're a kid and like to run out and splash about in puddles...though...I'm not really a kid anymore, and still haven't grown out of it myself... *clunk*).
I swear, if I revealed how long it took me to do this image...I know some people who spend days on theirs would probably just kill me here and now. Only Nicki may have some idea...though...I started it a few hours after she got offline.
For once, I wanted to draw Daxter with his much rounder baby-style face than the more shapely one I tend to give him with my style....and, MEEP! I need to start working a way to do him with the rounder head. (Represses her urges to take Dax, tie him up, gag him, and drag him away with her on her merry way).
Best part about it though - I'm a firm beliver that Jak is at LEAST one or two years older than his lil' buddy Dax, and it looks it in the pic! *insert happy ottsel dance*

::sighs:: yup. I miss Sandover too. Stealing the fisherman's boat, gettin yelled at by old green, the smell of Yakkow crap, ::takes a big whiff:: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh XD XD XD Anyway, I luv the way ya made Jak's hair, it loox like a hershy kiss here. And once again, lov'n the colorin.

Naughty Dog are making a Jak 3. Most of us Jak fans already have our copy pre-ordered. It's still not really on a final release date, but it'll be sometime before the end of this year.

Whoa. Great color job. The rain is just awesome, and the characters are quite cute. But i think the background is much better than the characters. I really like how you blended them into the environment, you made it seem like they were actually there really well.

I opened this up in the computer lab (when I wasn't supposed to be on the internet--shh, don't tell on me!) and fell out of my chair. It. Was. That. Dang. Good. Just.. the beautiful of this piece in concept and lineart alone is amazingly jaw-dropping. Add your amazing coloring skills, and some artistically placed raindrops, and you have--my next splurge item! >D I WILL buy a print of this! I swear it. X__X Even if I never get around to sending you manga or buying any of your artwork--I will buy a print of this!!
There isn't usually anything I would change about any of your pictures, but this one, changing or even thinking of changing a thing.. would be a crime against nature!

*nodnod* I agree that Jak is, or at least should be, 1 or 2 years older than Dax. I mean, lookit! That cherubby lil face he had in the first Jak game! ;-; N his lil bucky teef x3 The age difference shows here; and I like the slight tone difference in their skin. Emphasizes the youngness. The grass is well done, as are the clouds. And, somehow, the white specks have a 3-d effect o.o S'weird, but really cool! Almost like Jak n Dax could reach through space and grab one!
*sigh* I miss those old Sandover days.....everything was so simple....and Jak was....happy o.O

I know. The simplistic theme and...everything about Sandover...it's missed so much.
At least when Jak IS happy in the more recent games...it's usually because of something Dax does...just makes me wanna squeal. They really are the cutest friends...ever! Period!
