Here are some Deltora Quest sketches I came across when I was going through some of my old drawings. Most of them are ones I drew after buying the 'How to Draw Deltora Monsters' book, so they're probably at least five years old.I think they're all pretty recognisable, except maybe the two seahorses in the top left corner. They're only briefly mentioned once or twice, and aren't at all important.
Also, I think the muddlet is my personal favourite.

I like how we can see how you're design for the main characters have changed. Filli looks much more possum-like.
Oh I've never read that book, I've seen it around though. Should I give it a look?

Yeah, my Filli was much more possumy back then. Also, my raven drawing skills seem to have improved...
There are two books 'How to Draw Deltora Monsters' and 'How to Draw Deltora Dragons'. They're only really interesting because they show you how Marc McBride went about drawing all of those wonderful illustrations of his.

Oh the things that I remember... Though the first two books of the second series are the ones I remember least since for some reason they were the only ones we didn't have in the whole Deltora series. So when I was home sick I didn't get to read them.
Actually they have. Though that's still a good raven.

Series two was actually my favourite. I liked that it had sections that were from other characters' perspectives: Jasmine, Sharn, Josef, Jinks...

I don't know, the whole 'under the earth in giant water-filled caverns always put a bit of a shadow over that series for me as a whole. I like the last series best. All the groundwork for the characters had already been laid so it was just enjoying fammiliar characters in a really well thought out and exciting adventure.

Yeah, I've noticed that a lot of people have those 'How to Draw Deltora' books. There are a lot of drawings here on dA from them, particularly dragons and vraals.

yeah i tried to draw a vraal it failed but then i did Soldeen in watercolours and it turned out alright
