Description
Unfortunately, I couldn't find decent tutorials on type that looked at type as a universal human media (I did look)... and since I do manga bilingually, I thought this was important. Thus, I had to do this purely from memory from my Typography class. I paid 20 dollars a unit, so I think that's good enough. If you really, really doubt me on the contents because OMG you didn't put in references this time, if you actually go to a bookstore and look for typography books (which are a lot drier than this tutorial), they should cover things like leading and tracking and you will find what I demonstrated is true.The whole point of this part is the negative space rules type. And type is a design element to be designed, but not decorated. Decoration often ruins type. Got it? 'cause if you get all of the previous tutorials including this one and the general themes, you should be able to guess what I'm about to do with bubbles.
BTW, comments like... But Japanese are symbols.... I won't accept that and you'll get my whole lecture on Cultural Anthro and language about how ethnocentric that statement is. 'Cause while I'm aiming for a design degree--guess what the other degree I'm aiming for is? Cultural Anthro. ^_^
Neutral words like glyphs, or specific words like Kana will be accepted.

Arabic reads: "Arabic" in Arabic (in meaning). Same with Armenian--reads with the meaning "Armenian". I did not swear at you.
All drawn letters are done by me.
Found a tutorial to back me up: [link]

When I read in your box that you wrote "Arabia" in Arabic, I was shaking my head, and then instead of reading the Right to left as arabic should be read, I had to read from Left to Right, and you are right, that you wrote but the thing is with arabic, is that it connects with each other. It's like you're always writing in cursive only there are some letters that cannot be attached with it.
العربية
You would read <------ this way
------> Not this way.

I copied it from Wikipedia. If you're going to nitpick, do it there.
