That's a Sailor Moon Manga Tarot card in the background, yes. And I did make that card.Beyond that I know of some sinners who do not properly name their brushes or brush sets. Shame on the lot of you. I'm tempted to make a sinner's list to just get you to name your brushes and the brush sets properly.
If you are demanding credit, you better name your brushes. That's your responsibility. Just like people sign their work. Just like people put their name on books... it's your responsibility to name the brushes and the set if you ever want anyone to say, "Look! This person made x brush"
May you go forth and not do as those other sinners did and name your brushes properly. And if you have sinned, may you go forth and rename your brushes and brush sets so that people may give you credit.
And if you don't, I'll hunt you down and message you on your folly. Just try me.
BTW, this tutorial will work for Mac or PC.

So I think you're ahead of me in several respects. ^_^ If you don't allow yourself to suck you will never learn anything new.
And in the end you will look back and go, "I really sucked" and then find someone who is always one step better than you. When you surpass them, you won't remember what you liked about their work... and then find someone else better than you. Such is life. ^.~
Best you can do is find tips to get ahead faster.

*claps* very well explained! I actually never used custom brushes by other people that much to know if they named them or not. But I don't see why someone wouldn't. It gets confusing if you have a million other brushes with no names.

It is unbelievable, but one of the larger brush providers on DA is guilty of this sin along with lots of other stock. It's a pain for me to remember whose is whose.
Brush name is "Sampled Brush 4" for a set I DLed but she demands credit. Somehow including her logo at the end of the brush set is enough for me to remember her 20+ brushes belong to her in the set. Oh please. Her laziness means less people ultimately link back to her. If she doesn't put in the effort to give herself credit, why should we bend over backwards to do it?
