Description Username: Sniperwheel
Location: New York, US
Class: Mechanical
Power: Arsenal
Special Techniques:
Shiftarm - A transforming arm that can shift between a cannon, a sniper-rifle and a machine gun.
Rocket Burn - A charging attack activated by two powerful rocket boosters on the user's back.
Bomball - Small bombs that can be launched in succession.
Headcannon - A powerful attack that must be charged for a great amount of time, but releases a beam that covers the entire length of the battlefield.

-THE ORIGINAL-
"Sniperwave" as he was originally called, was my heaviest reference to all things MegaMan in terms of TvTome Adventures, especially in the case of battle network. His original weapons were all in the vein of various "battlechips" used in that series, as well as his design being a crazed mish-mash of several robot masters. Snipes had a lot of screen time as far as recurring characters go, but his only real stand-out trait was that he was really, really good at playing the game...and nothing much else to speak of. You would almost think he would've been one of those stereotypical shut-ins that does nothing but game all day.

-THE NEW-
This time around, the character took a bit more of a backseat as just an incidental to represent the night-owl players of TOME. Sniper"wheel" as he's been retitled, only had some slight changes from the original design, but they were welcome ones, particularly the wheel as his new name implies, as opposed to a giant rotating ball. In terms of personality, I knew I wanted to stress the "big shot" attitude he had before, but something I never quite portrayed with the original Sniperwave was that I always thought of him with a form of gangster speak. I considered a few different people for him, but ultimately settled on Jon Jafari, who would often break into a New York dialect at random intervals during his video reviews. His style of comedy lent itself well to the character and we ultimately ended up with this freakish combination of Nathan Lane and Christopher Walken. Animating Snipe's weapons, and his entire fight scene with Kirb too, was a blast to work on.

mishmash of megaman characters? it was airman.exe's body on colorman.exe's ball. that seems pretty simple.

This is nice design wise and everything. It'll be interesting to see what kind of part he plays in TOME.

Personally, Sniperwave was always a noticable looking fellow in the original series, so it was darn nice to see him come back as Sniperwheel here.

Can't get enough of that voice.

I approve of the monowheel, but I just with he had a bit more of a dynamic design. It just feels so plane to me.
