This is so clean and bright! I would've never known you digitally painted this unless you showed us this tutorial (I thought it was vector art).

Really interesting way of doing it! I could never shade everything with purple and still end up making it look good

Kiwibon In reply to BunnehCola [2013-04-08 10:20:25 +0000 UTC]

Its just brush renamed to 'pencil'. If you change the settings so it has paper texture, it looks like youre using a pencil~

Ahaha, so cute!

I saw that movie. What they did for the animals is combine 2 animals together. I figured that out during the movie and then checked the site, lol.

This is Macawnivore. Macaw and a large cat.

The only one they really didn't follow this though is the Trip Gerbils....the two gerbil things that shared the same tail.

Heeeeeeeey I sculpted a monkaw (monkey/lemur) for an Animal Anatomies class back in college! Mine was more realistically color, cause it was for a grade. Thanks for bringing back some good nostalgia!~

....although getting that bloody thing from my dorm to the class was a nightmare. It was a foot tall when I finished it.

Aww that sounds so cool! I can sorta picture something like that in my head.

Lol, no problem!

Oh wow, moving it around must have been tough.

Autumnhound In reply to CelestialDrake [2013-04-07 17:47:56 +0000 UTC]

It had a monkey body and tail, with big round monkey eyes and had like, bird wings, beak and feet. I covered it with feathers except for its striped tail. Uggghhh I sculpted every feather by haaaaaandd.

ohh... the more i know
i saw the movie and saw obviously all the combined animals, but i thought it only was a colorful tiger

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CelestialDrake In reply to Grixis [2013-04-06 20:08:22 +0000 UTC]

I thought that at first too, then started thinking about birds and that's when it hit me. Then I went home and checked the site and realized I was correct.
