When using the gaussian blur, what is the radius?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Kiwibon In reply to natiasewid [2015-04-20 08:05:26 +0000 UTC]

It's various, which ever suits your particular image! Mine was a small image so it was quite a small radius.

This seems much easier than trying to do the smooth cell-shadings by hand ;-; Thanks for the tutorial! I shall try it the next time I draw.

Hi<3 those lines were drawn on different layers, just delete the original lines layer.

Andrew13112001 In reply to Kiwibon [2013-07-10 14:22:36 +0000 UTC]

Well,I am not good at thoose things, but I still ,,won'd" something. If you ever checked my page,I am making a pokemon comic. And all thoose effects of the program I got from your Faq will help. For example, when it is night in the comic.I use paint for the comic, and when it should be night in the comic,I take every colour, and make the darker a bit.But this takes a lot. Now,I'll just take the image, put it on the program I got from FAQ,I use it's effects, and TADA!It looks like it is night.So...even if I am not gonna do this kind of art,I still thank you. After all,it was your FAQ where I got the downloading link.

this is be so great but when it comes to the important part (for me), I don't understand English anymore. XD

would you mind explaining the text after you put the picture into PS? "merge visible duplicate layer..." and "change the layer blending mode to soft light or overlay" are whyever not understandable for me. that's the bad thing when one's from Germany and is new to PS
