My very first tutorial, well mostly I made for fun (Don't judge me T~T) But i really really hope it's helpful for some of you who doesn't know how to make animated icon.***NOTE NOTE NOTE: To save it as a gif file: File ~> Save for web and devices XD
(Using photoshop cs4)
This is my free icon if you wanna use hehe~

Sorry to butt in like a random dork XD
But to animate in cs6 you click on File > Browse in Mini Bridge > Timeline
And from there you can make the animations.

I have never used Cs6 before >_< But i thought every photoshop version has animation option~~~ Sorry I couldnt help you with this, maybe google?

Unfortunately it's not, but I'm using Photoshop CS4 portable, and it's just the same as the licensed one (actually there are some features that can't be used but no harm to me)
you can find it anywhere on google, easy to install and only around 50 60mb

Thanks so much for making such a great icon tutorial! I'm really interested into making a pixel icon myself, I'm going to try to make one using this tutorial. It looks so simple, but I bet it's going to take me like 6+ hours to make it.. ... Eh. =^=''

Heres a Portable one but its photoshop cs6, I use it, its quite hard, but thats becuz im still a newbie at it!! >.< But it works 100% though
