Yay! Forest Background!!!! I'm gonna use this background for one of my pics. I referenced from a scene I found on Google, and it helped a whole lot! So this is my first tutorial, is it good for my first???

I don't use GIMP or Photoshop but this tutorial has helped me solve all my background problems, thank you soooo much for sharing!

Sometimes, artists overthink things. XD I've been looking for a background tutorial, and sometimes even the simplest tutorials, advice, or otherwise can cure an artblock. So thank you! I simply used the 'vine' brush on gimp. I really don't know of many brushes, since I don't use ps and most brushes are made for it. I probably should have painted the brushes myself in this anyway.

this is quite wonderful. I love the simplicity of the descriptions and the details of the picture. who knew it could be SO EASY. Dx me being a perfectionist would be sitting there trying to draw every single branch and twig on tree and bush, lmao.
