Description The first in a series of images i did on technology and beauty. These images portray the integration of natural organic entities, such as people and plants, with digital circuitry and cables. When people talk of the intersection between art and technology there is usually a feeling that there is an opposition between them. They are considered by many to be polls apart. In the modern age this opposition is even more evident as technology becomes more predominant and ‘ugly’. With these images I try to go against the belief that they are opposites but instead try to integrate them together in a way that seems natural and beautiful. I try to make technology and the digital age seem not an opposition to man, nature and even art but rather an extension of them; the next step of our evolution. In this tree image I try to make the circuitry seem part of the trees roots and also to seem part of the night sky as stars. I do this to make technlogy and nature seem intertwined and natural.
