My first deviation. Be kind. This image is part of a series in which i explored surreal imagery of women. This image is a symbolic representation of women as graceful and loving creatures. The sperm/tadpole-like objects represent the female element of the Chinese yin-yang symbol, which is a symbol of oppositional yet harmoniously interdependent forces. On the back of woman figure to the right is an x-ray image in which the spine and the woman’s braid merge. This represents for me an attempt to understand and see what’s inside women. The woman holding the bush represents Mother Nature. She is depicted as a beautiful woman.
