What happens to something coloured dark blue when it lies in the shade?

If we talk about shades then whole place with rugs should be darker than it is

Yah, but considering how fast he is, this is still awesome. And he always thrives for perfection. The coat was more obvious to colour-change, anyway. Oh, and i remember, he sometimes shifts the colours on purpose, like Chrysalis's mane.

Just like I thought, I knew this would be amazing once it got colored!
The coloring gives a great new layer of detail to it, from the sheen of all of their manes and tails to the palm tree Pinkie's hiding under. And herΒ expression is priceless, by the way.Β
But something about pinkie's mane and coat seems a little bit off with contrast, as though she's a bit too pale or her mane's slightly too bold. But I'm probably just off with that.Β
Either way, it's a great job as always!

I dont think its really too flat on color as much as I think the shading is over all a tad light. Depends on the shading, using different colors or just more or stronger blacks in places. Mainly cause you are showing a very bright day, so more of the shade would be more more dark. That and the far off trees as well would benefit from that as well. Otherwise it is a very cute and amusing picture over all. *I hate to do shading by the way
