Description
Download for full size! It's hugeRedid my Fox color chart from a little over 5 months ago for my Fox Avatars on Second Life. I included the rest of the colors I had planned, but didn't have room for, from my last one (file got way too big).
It's gonna be a challenge to texture all of these guys, but it will be done!
All of these foxes, except the bottom 4, are actual color mutations of a red fox.
Only the red, cross, silver, grey, and arctic foxes (summer and winter) occur naturally in the wild. All the other fox colors on this chart only occur through selective breeding.

Edit: The "Shadow" fox is actually a ranched mutation of the Arctic fox, so I will be excluding it from my fox av colors due to it looking exactly like the arctic fox, only much bigger.

I had no idea that there was so many variations of the red fox! I'd only heard of the black(silver), red, and cross variations. This is so cool. >w>

I've only recently begun getting interested in fox coat colors, and I'm curious to learn more.
Are all Red Marble foxes considered Sun Glows? It's awfully hard to find pictures of Sun Glows, but there are plenty of marbles, so I was wondering if they were the same. Forgive me for the dumb question. xD

Sun Glow is just another name some breeders give red marbles XD kind of a clever way to sell them at higher prices. Fancy name = higher price, amirite

I remember seeing an episode of Deadliest Catch, and they showed some footage of an arctic fox with jet black fur. And this fox was in its winter coat.

you sure it wasn't a small silver fox?
There are a few exceptions, where an arctic fox will have a dark brown or dark grey coat in the winter, like here [link] (sometimes called a blue or a tundra fox [link] ) though I think it depends on where they live. But I've never seen or heard of a jet black arctic fox. It sounds like it might have been a small silver fox, or the lighting made it look black

Do You Know Any Good Fox Reference Sites That i Could Use? Because Google And Bing Are Not Helpful At ALL. Apparently, Fire And Ice Fox (To Google) Translates To Naked Women Lmao.

Nice! I was looking for the Red fox's other colours to show people since they don't seem to believe me. O.o My sona's a mix and she can do the fur change thing the arctic one does. XD This helps lots with my new oc's since I'm planning on making one a marble fox.
