Thank you for these instructions. and sorry for not leaving much of a comment on the others I just like to finish reading every thing before doing or saying something pertinent but thank you for these. Now the only thing left to do is try making my own. ^_^

Hello , Fromm the beginning id want to tank you for youβre tutorial ο I love tinkering whit things like this.
I wanted to ash you one thing because youβre probably while now the answer. I wanted tu use the mask like Geisha makeup in a photo session but frankly Iβm no cosmetician I donβt know what to use to get a face white like that. I saw one photo at youβre account whit that kind of makeup, cued you tell my how you did that ?

Hi there! I use actual traditional Japanese makeup for my geisha cosplays. It's rather difficult to get a similar result with western makeups. Unfortunately the traditional stuff is quite pricey, so unless you're planning to use it often it's not really worth it. There's a section on the forums on this website about getting a geisha look with western makeup: www.immortalgeisha.com You might want to take a look there to find alternatives. Otherwise, the traditional set usually retails for about $350 USD on ebay.

thanks a lot for a wonderful tutorial! you've made some things very clear, that i was confused about. Although a request: if you could take pics of the steps, esp in creating the falls, it would be so helpful.
Where can i see your creations?

Thank you! Unfortunately I don't have the time to update my tutorials anymore. So I won't be able to add any photos. All of the kanzashi in my gallery here are my personal creations. You can also find them up for sale here: KurokamiKanzashi.etsy.com

Hi! I love your tutorial, but I had a question that I don't see in most tutorials.. How to add Bira Bira strips. And where people might find them or how to make them if you can't find them.. I love the little metal strips, but I'm just wondering how to get them attached and where to find them as possibilities. Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful artform
