It was the day of the Ice lesson, Cyril did a quick check to see if all those who could learn ice were present. scanning the children, he noticed the ice twins, Diamond and Dust sitting there. Then there was the Purple Dragon, Spyro who could learn all the elements. He stopped when he noticed a certain out of place red dragon."Flame? what are you doing here?"
"I want to learn Ice! hic"
"you can't"
"It sounds like fun I wanna try! hic"
The Pro-Ice Guardian began to laugh
"This Lesson will be a waste of time for you"
"but..." Frostine noticed tears begin to form in the young dragon's eyes. Cyril had gone too far with his harsh words this time. anger began to well up within her. he was shattering the innocence that Flame had with each word and it had to be stopped.
"Go join the other children, little fire dragon. You can never learn ic-"
"CYRIL!!!" Her voice causing the ego dragon to shudder. "HAVE YOU NO HEART?"
"I only speak the truth"
"He's not hurting anything" growled the caretaker "so why do you insist that he leave?"
"Flame c-can't ll-earn ice" A stutter in his voice. "he's a fire drag-"
"FIRE DRAGON? SO WHAT?" The Guardian began to slink his head lower as he was stared down by the Caretaker "I don't know what you have against fire dragons but it needs to stop and it needs to stop NOW!"
The defeated Cyril had his eyes glued to the floor. A great smile came across the young fire whelp's face as he witnessed his mother perform justice for his sake.

(Chapter 11 - Frozen Over)
Here you see a helping of Cyril being put in his place by an angry Frostine. She is quick to snap when she knows that something goes wrong and will step up to show much needed justice (and this instance here is clearly no exception)

But a fire dragon cannot physically learn ice. The elements are opposite elements, since Ice is frozen water. Flame literally cannot learn ice, even if he were to spend 100 years trying to learn it. He is not a ice dragon nor a hybrid. Thus Cyril is right.

Dude. I know that this is an old comment but this is just discouraging people to continue do what they were doing. You know most of the mothers out there do this. They just defend their child even if it is truth. Anyway if fire dragon learning ice does not make sense how about a fact that a fire dragon died in a fire? TloS does not make single sense and never will.

Yes i know that... And that law does apply but thats not the point. Flame wanted to have fun with his young ignorance. Frostine knows this and she is angry at Cyril for being so harsh and crushing his innocence. The ice guardian can be especially racist (this is mostly evident when it comes to fire dragons)
Frostine is glad Flame is willing to learn and have fun even though he cannot ever do himself.

But wouldn't flame become heavily discouraged once he learned he could never learn ice. I know Cyril was a bit harsh but in a way he is trying to keep the kid from embarrassing himself. Most other dragons would laugh at him for attempting to do the impossible.
Like "Look at that fire dragon, dose he really think he can breathe ice" You know how school-yard bullies are. I think instead of teaching or learning Ice as an element, maybe Flame should be taught about the element's history and significance in the way the world works.

Sigh... I would go further into explaining... But i wont... I need to write this down somewhere... Almost ALL of the artwork you see is supposed to be a scene from a fanfiction ive been writing called Rebirth. Honestly you should read it before telling me to change my thought process... (The reas on why I dont link to the stated chapter on the art page is because I don't want new readers to jump straight into the middle of my story)

Okay first I am not saying change your story. I was just saying in general.
Second don't yell at me about questioning your ideas when you aren't even going to explain them to me in the first place. You have no grounds to yell at me about your story ideas when I don't know what they are and when you aren't going to explain then. You are literally pulling a "I'm gonna yell at you for messing with my ideas when I know you don't understand them and I won't tell you" I'm basically get yelled at for no reason cause I don't know what that reason is. You can be a bit nicer.
Third don't be so touchy about your ideas. Don't immediately assume that people want you to change your ideas when they suggest or say something. It doesn't mean that they are telling you to change your ideas.

it was late at night and I was kinda tired... Some times I hate repeating myself and I think, well this guy hasn't read my story yet and this is the reason he/she didn't quite understand. So i like to think that maybe your questioning may have been answered in my fanfiction work.
