Description For whatever reason. my imagination immediately thought of a dragon when I saw this...

Here is a single thunderstorm making a last attempt to build strength before the late summer sunset. It has the classic anvil shape, however, this one produced a very wispy, thin tail which led me to name it the way I did.

Panoramic of 15 vertical shots.

Impressive again. I love the clouds that gather on flat plains.. don't get them by the coast.

15 shots?! How the hell did you manage that?!

Sorry, it boggles my mind because I can barely get my panoramas to work with 5 photos, let alone 15. How long did it take you to put this together?

Probably 1 1/2 hours++ just to stitch it together. Just to get it to work at this exposure, I had to adjust my RAW files to brighten the images so the stitcher would register any visible control points. After that series was stitched, I saved the template and loaded the darker images which took about an hour and a half on top of the previous allotted time. Sometimes the pictures don't stitch properly and get a little squirrelly. I've manually stitched panorama's before in the past and that was very, very tedious.

Wow. I barely had the patience to do my own. I actually had Photoshop do most of the work then dealt with the color and contrast myself. Stitching is such a pain IMO. But I give everything a shot at least once. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.

What kinda camera are you using? I can't seem to get mine to take RAW files.

I guess it could be considered up there...It's not on the top level, but it takes some great quality shots. I'm really happy with it.

It's fairly flat in some parts...but it's got nothing on Kansas! Oklahoma's got a little bit of everything when it comes to landscapes. They may not be as large or vast as they are in other states though. Western Oklahoma has got some flat areas, but most of it is broken up with hills and canyons.
