Description
This is the same old house as the one in my previous submission titled Days of Old. I feel this shot is of much better quality than the other and am very much more pleased with the results. The other picture looks a little "muddy" to me.This old house was halfway built into the side of some red rock (sedimentary rock) exposed on the side of the hill to the right. The are many old houses in western Oklahoma that have some extremely interesting characteristics, such as this one. It goes to show how resilient Oklahoman's were when the west was settled.

could I please use your photo as a reference for one of my animation film's backgrounds? I was looking for a shot of someone coming out an old shanty house's door into an outdoor landscape, and your pic just pops up on the browse screen!
It almost felt like it's was ment to be!
