This is a panoramic photo using 14 different photographs, taken just before the sun went down. These thunderstorms were fast moving and were directly overhead about 15 minutes prior to these pictures being taken.Here is a link the western sky: [link]

I'm extremely jealous that you live in an area where you can get such expansive photos. Here in the east, there are hills everywhere and it's literally impossible to get anything with any decent horizon in it. I really wish I could get sun-on-the-horizon photos that didn't put everything else in shadow (as it is likely to do, when the sun sets into the hills).

I do have to say that I love being in a fairly open area and able to drive to the peaceful country side within a matter of minutes!
