This started with a dinner discussion with the people who are listed at the top of the tutorial...
Parts of this are based on real instances. God knows the notes and questions that those poor thousands-of-pageviews artists get. I pity them!
I also get really weird questions from people I don't know that are like "omg how i draw leik u??//"
No, don't ask that. Just don't.
I suppose this is also because I hate the crap that's getting posted... Stick figures rarely are art, kiddies.
This is not an attack on any one person!
It's just for fun!

KyraShangea truly covered the most engrossingly powerful points in this tutorial.. Let me explain.
YOUR ART SUCKS - Yes. Many people here on deviantart put out the worst possible deviations to ever plague earth, as we know it. Yet they're constantly "enouraged" by "nice" people, and thus influenced that they're gewd.
YOUR ART IS GOOD - Wow, you've experience in the arts. Your skill of course doesn not go without recognition... From the sane and insane alike. Some praise your art, offer criticism etc. while others wish to gain your skill in a matter of mere minutes, thus plague you with questions that make no sense, whatsoever.
YOUR ART IS... OK - The averages usually are the middle class of art websites like DA. They draw pretty good art, they enjoy moderate popularity, and are usually in a large community/group of artists that are like them. Due to they're apparent "averageness" you feel that you need to demand artwork of them. :/
An overall, win tutorial.

YOUR ART SUCKS - I believe that people should be encouraged to some extent, but they shouldn't be told their work is gold when it simply isn't. It gives them a false ego.

Opinion. Ah. And mine was, upon finishing, "what a waste of time.." Have you ever thought that maybe people come here to share what they do in order to enhance their skill beyond what was previously capable? No? Probably because your the stuck up one. I've never seen really stupid art that have "PWN" or anything equally poptarted.. that is until now.

Lol, you are taking this far too seriously. You're missing the satire, the joke. It's not that I care if people with really bad artwork are here -- we all start somewhere. It's when they have really bad artwork and think that they are God's gift to the world. Please reread the text thoroughly and you'll see that I'm mocking the attitude of people, not bad drawings. I mean, hell, my drawings at a younger age were quite frightening and I still consider a lot of my artwork frightening.
So, as you are offended, I do ask that you take another look. /nod
