After reading Ethel M. Grime's [link] wonderful fiction related to Disney's "The Great Mouse Detective", I couldn't help but draw fanart. This is the original sketch, which I'm dedicating to Lady E.I'm rather fond of how this and the two final products came out, and I hope Lady E. is, too. It was quite fun to do. Hopefully, I achieved the right look of the original characters, as well as how Elizabeth may have looked in some readers' minds... If I didn't, then... I'm still proud. :: snorts ::
Please note that none of the characters are mine, except for this certain rendition of Elizabeth Starling, who solely belongs Lady E.

Oh, my God. How in the world could I have missed this submission all this time? I thought I had seen everything there is to see with GMD fan art of the past. I am truly stunned that this has slipped past my eyes. This is so beautiful. I love sketches almost as much as final pieces.
