Capt. Stone is Missing... is a new story created for Madefire (www.madefire.com) by myself and Christina McCormack. I LOVE where this is taking me, right through my styles from the late 1980s to today - this one, of course, is a faux-Bisley style circa 1991.Read the first five episodes for free on the Madefire app!

I love the nostalgic feeling of this, and the hybrid insect-women hanging all over him. Very nice! Since you're channeling Biz with this painting, have you given the thought to try channeling Geof Darrow? Anyways, great painting.

thanks for the exclusive, liam. it's a bad-ass piece, and yes, a great tribute to the good ol wild days with Biz. I'm kinda getting some "riotous" feeling off the design and situation you've placed Captain Stone in. could this be a dark satirical poke at superheroes (along the lines of Garth+Dareck's wild The Boys comic).

Fantastic and so much fun!! Someone already beat me to saying it, but it totally brings to mind the Mr Monster strip that the Biz did back in the day, with just a hint of Giger thrown in for measure. Fun stuff!
