i believe this is one of the best drawings ever made of the Cimmerian, if not he best.
Not only the anatomy is impressive (to say the least), but, as westernman wrote, you really captured the essence of Conan.

Wonderful linework and shading. See, to me, this is Conan. Too often he is depicted as some emancipated fop. This fellow looks wild...like a true Cimmerian!

Thanks mate. I kind of try to take elements from - for me at least - the three seminal Conan artists: Bucema, BWS, and Frazetta. I'm amazed how popular this sketch has become though. It's had more views than my single DD.

Beautiful! Beautiful beautiful beautiful! Just as ol' Conan should be, in my opinion. Great job on the corded muscle, and I really love the choice of ornaments, adornments and - er - clothing...?

You draw a mean looking Conan! You capture the barbaric intensity of Frazetta and the regal stance of Buscema all in this one pencil drawing. I thought your Short Swords painting is fantastic.
