Description
So I've built an army of Lego Daleks.. . .
Yup, that was inevitable.
Built using a variety of techniques cadged from other builders, though the Emperor and the runners are my own design.
As usual, I own neither the Daleks nor Doctor Who. Or Lego. Look, if I owned Lego, I wouldn't run out of grey tiles halfway through a two foot Star Wars spaceship, would I?

Thanks! It's a fairly simple build, I'll see about getting some instructions up soon.

I was about to ask, but I see it's been done! I can't seem to find them, though...

Thanks! Would it also be possible to get some for the Supreme, SWD, and that ultra-cool Saucer? I think they're quality enough that LEGO could easily use the designs!

The saucer, I can't do because it's been so long since I built it. But I can probably remember how to build the SWD and the supreme/emperor. I'll see what I can do.

Oh, I know all about that and am greatly anticipating their release. And the Lego Ideas set, when it eventually shows up!

I might very well have to add them into that folder!

So you're saying the Lego and the BBC missed a serious marketing trick by not giving us versions of the Daleks, the Tardis, K-9 Mark I-III, the Cybermen, the Sonic Screwdriver, The Key to Time, Various Space Ships, etc. Okay, excuse me while IΒ contemplate bankruptcy toΒ make / get the various parts to do these things...Β

You and me both . . .
Especially since it's entirely possible, given recent Lego Dimensions developments, we may yet see all those things in official sets . . .

As someone who's made a few lego daleks in his time, these are fantastic. I especially love the emperor one and the way you've done the bases! much better than what it looks like Lego have officially come up with.

Thanks! I think with the official Dalek we've seen, the shortcomings (such as they are) are more due to it being a Dimensions build - which means it's intended to be rebuilt as part of the came.
What we really need, of course, is 2x2 wedge plates, left and right - that would be perfect for the scale!

I did something similar myself a while back. I love how you used the bolt wrench for the eyestalks and telescope as the right arm.

Thank you - although, I fear I cannot claim any originality for that particular parts usage. I've seen lots of people use the wrench piece and the telescope part is used on the official Lego Dimensions Daleks, I just added the stud for the look.

You've changed them...
...another paradigm shift?
I like it.

Thanks! And I really should have thought of using 'a new paradigm' for the title . . . drat that missed joke opportunity!
