So, I'm not actually intending to build the entire inside of the ship in detail. I do want to detail the shuttle dock, the cargo airlocks and the bridge, but that's about it.Having said that, I do want to know roughly speaking where everything is, so that I'm sure that what I've built outside makes sense. So, knowing that I *can* fit escape pods beneath those panels at the top is useful, as is knowing where it would make sense to have hatches to access the top of the saucer (which I still need to add) and that the shuttle-dock isn't too extravagantly huge that it would make the rest of an interior unworkable.
Also, I might have gotten just a little bit carried away.
Star Trek belongs to CBS (well, they're showing it. I assume they have some sort of stake in the thing).

Very nice! Now, you just need to build the ship in *EVERY* detail. I don’t care if you have to hook it up to a NASA supercomputer to render it- just get modelling

There's so much detail. I can see how your computer (and you) would suffer PTSD if the rooms were all included...this in itself is simply incredible. You've intricately modelled this thing, with as many details put in as you can...

If you're not sure about the sickbay? space, another possible option would be a mess hall/galley/rec lounge sort of area.

Oh yes - the question is more about whether it's sensible to put the infirmary in the middle of everyone's living space, so if not, I'd definitely put something like that there.
