I am not dead. I mean, I would hope that wasn't really a question, but given everything, it probably bears stating.

I'm also don't expect to start posting again with any great regularity. The long and short of it is that I had to take down my CGIing PC a couple of years ago to make room for working from home and thus have been operating off my laptop since. This is less optimal for Blender work and that, coupled to some health issues, meant I simply fell out of the habit.

This model was my attempt last year to keep the skills sharp and get to know the new and improved Blender (revised interface, Cycles now being the rendering engine by default etc). Since my Liberator redesign is a concept I know backwards and inside out after all these years, I had a crack at redoing it from the ground up, taking full advantage of curves not being the complete nightmare they were when I started, all the way back in the 2000s, working with a CAD program from school.

Turned out rather spiffy even if there is, technically, a whole heap of further work to do. I have no idea if I will come back to it at a future date, but it certainly isn't impossible.

For the moment, I am neck-deep in Gundam fandom and likely to model some stuff for that before anything else. I might post some more of the work I did around this concept over the weekend, depending how things go. In any case, hope you are all doing as OK as you can given the aforementioned everything.
