Quark + Trooper ArmatureThe most common combat unit employed by the Dominator battle fleet, this nimble armature is equipped with two powerful variable energy projectors, capable of everything from disabling enemy life forms to boring through solid rock. As with all Dominator technology when interfaced with a Quark AI unit, the armature can draw power directly from the local environment to recharge or affect nearby technology.

The BBC owns Doctor Who. Not entirely sure who owns the Quarks or the Dominators. This design is mine own.

Colours on the tubes are better now.
Another thought; why do all Quarks have to be the box design or the sleeker designs? The Cybermen and Daleks ended up deviating on their designs for one reason or another between groups, don't see why Quarks would be any different. I dunno, I just really want to see those old designs Blenderized. You seem to change your mind on things lots, so no reason for me to give up hope yet.

Give up hope, at least of seeing my old biped design rebuilt in Blender. I'm going to redo the gunner Quark, but the old trooper is completely superseded by the above design.

Though I thought it was funny that, the Daleks deviate a little bit with the NDP from traditional designs and everyone (you included) freaks out. You radically alter the Quarks and people are mostly 'meh'.

What? You mean lots of people have things to say about an official design choice concerning one of the most well-known sci fi icons in modern television, broadcast two years ago on BBC 1 on a Saturday night with an audience of millions but no one has much to say about a fan redesign of a cheaply made robot from a dull story broadcast in 1968, posted on an art site so big that pretty much everything, good or bad, gets lost in the flood leaving everyone reliant on search functions?
WOW. What a shocking revelation. However shall I cope with this obvious slight against my precious work?

However shall you cope with believing comments are 'obvious slights against your precious work'. It wasn't a slight in any way.
My point was that you seem to consider it a big deal to deviate minimally from the Dalek's design, but the Quarks you drastically redesign. I find that somewhat hypocritical. Which isn't really a bad thing because everyone's a hypocrit in some way. One could pull up my feelings on the Cybermen and compare it to this situation and point out I'm being just as much a hypocrit.
Hope that's a better description of the point I was attempting to make.
