It does look like apiece of burned wood but still glowing but its really beautiful!

this reminds me of a piece of wood, still glowing but burned down (maybe it's the photo though)
the spare colours suggest warmth
but it's ambiguous......

still glowing..burned, yes...still warm.
its a big painting, hard to see here in this awful photograph...
...a forest after a catastophic event, the ambiguity between recent life and future life...disproportionate sky in the background at the top hopefully representing a wider area of destruction...
i hope nothing like this ever happens on the scale i want to depict...

the photo, yes I know...the black has a glare...but I still can see enough I think
