The ultimate in hardcore level design and annoying gimmicks.Quick Man - Instant Death Lasers
Spark Man - Annoying and unkillable enemies while over pits and the platforms trying to push you into the spikes.
Dust Man - Compactor can crush you.
Tomahawk Man - really good enemy placement.
Turbo Man - Return of the death lasers and lots of annoying jumps.
Concrete Man - Birds dropping rocks and pit jumpers.
Frost Man - The whole level, ice blocks and the annoying jet ski part
Commando Man - Enemy placement, lots of pits, Sand storm obliterates view and pushes either into spikes or into pits.

Surprisingly, I beat Spark Man's stage on my first try... still have no idea how that happened as the end section is absolute BULL!!!Β

I think I died a couple times only because i was like 7 at the time. it's no problem for me now.... most of the time.

they have some annoying parts for sure but these stagesΒ just take the cake for being unforgiving.

Tomahawk Man's stage is quite easy for a veteran like me. :3
But Guts Man's level is also worth noting with those platforms at the start.

Here are the worst levels from each game:
1. Ice Man - Ice physics
2. Quick Man - Lasers of death.
3. Gemini Man - TOO. MANY. ENEMIES.
4. Skull Man - STOP WITH ALL THE RANDOM ENEMIES, OK?!
5. Napalm Man - Stop giving enemies boss HP.
6. Blizzard Man - Ice physics suck sooo much.
7. Turbo Man - It's Quick Man's revenge.
8. Frost Man - JUMP! JUMP! SLIDE! SLIDE! SHOOT! SHOOT!
9. Concrete Man - I HATE minibosses.
10. Commando Man - GRENADES. SANDSTORMS. DEATH.

How did Tomahawk Man's stage beat out Plant Man's stage for annoyance?

Actually I just watched a playthrough of MM 5 and have to say Tomahawk's stage is a breeze.
Plant Man's too.
Knight Man has that falling spike ceiling but once you get past it, it's easy as cake.
Blizzard man's stage on the other hand has the Ice physics and all them pits...

Annoying = repetitive thing that is unwanted or difficult to handle.

The original icon Of Mega Man is from Mega Man 3 placed in a MM 1 icon border.
Quick Man (Boomerang head) is in his original icon and border, recolored purple for identification purposes.
All the others except for Frost Man (Ice blocks) are from their original game put into a modified MM 2 Border with the number of squares & Rectangles notating which # Mega Man game they are from.
Frost man's icon was pulled from a fan game that turned MM 8 64-bit into an 8-bit game. he too is in a custom MM2 border.
So in other words I used the icon picture and custom made borders to them.

yeah, but you can freeze the magma flows and time your jumps in Magma Man's level... those quick man lasers are on and stay on, it's a mad dash with precise jumping and movements to avoid them.

time stopper is only way to get with less waste of lives. didn't know that turbo man has also lasers

I died so many times in Frost Man's stage my friend and I started joking about it. "Ok, just got out of the hospital, lets try this again!" *jumps on snowboard, dies* "Ok, once more!" *dies again* "Gee, I sure am glad Dr. Wily takes forever to do his schemes!"

the jet board parts are barely playable with the parts:

I mean I really, really enjoy playing Mega Man 8 except for the jetboard parts.

Good for you, dude. I had to go through it with the Air Shooter and Bubble Lead, so I had to memorize the thing.
Good thing I took Air Shooter, too. QM is HARD without that!

I found out later on in life that it's actually possible to get through them w/o Time Stopper. My mind was blown, and it makes the fight with Quick Man SOOO much easier.

Yeah, after a few runs (with Time Stopper's help of course) I was like "Hey, I think this is actually possible!" But by "a few", I mean enough runs that I could possibly do the laser section with my eyes closed.

Dude, most of them are pain in the ass, but Turboman wasn't that hard.
However, I'm happy to see that Quickman is there, as it took me many weeks to manage to finish his level. Glad to see I'm not the one.
